Born in Aomori, northern Japan. A genuine Yokozuna (grand champion) of professional sumo, Haru was stripped of his rank after a match-fixing scandal orchestrated — unknown to the public — by Lee Kia Corp's gambling division. Lee Kia personally arranged both the scandal and Haru's rescue, giving him a second life as a Yakuza enforcer in exchange for eternal loyalty. Haru obeys out of gratitude and shame; Lee Kia is the only man who didn't abandon him after his disgrace.
