KYOTO
The spiritual origin of the journey. The ninjas return home to find Master Kenzo's dojo burned to the ground. Grief becomes vendetta among bamboo, lanterns, and a thousand torii.
Overview京
Kyoto is where the story begins, and where the world of Jiro and Hanzo ends.
The Arashiyama dojo — their home for eighteen years — is ash by the time they cross the last bridge. Among the embers lies the letter that names Lee Kia Corp.
From that moment the city stops being a home and becomes a crime scene. Three levels, each a peeling-back of what the Yakuza did to their sensei's world.
